Lucía García Rey is a photographer and creative / art director.

 

Born in Galicia, Spain. The landscape, the nature, the culture and traditions from this land has been very important in who Lucía is and has influenced her way of look and tell stories.

 

Influenced by her father she started doing images at a very young age with an analog camera. This beginning has marked Lucía’s way of working; always focusing on the narrative.

 

Since 2009 Lucía has been systematically doing a diary that has followed her for all the cities and countries where she lived, such as Berlin, Shanghai, Philippines, Sweden. The diary together with commission work for brands and magazines always leaves the observer with a poetic, visually beautiful and honest feeling.
